21% Semillon. Fermented in small neutral containers, including concrete egg. Rather a Musque nose. Rather rich and glamorous on the palate. Great oak-derived but not oaky texture. Much more opulent than the 2017. Light chewiness and definitely made for ageing but with an admirably zesty streak.

The 2018 Sauvignon Blanc strides boldly out of the glass with notes of green apples, white peaches and fresh grapefruit plus hints of wild thyme, lemongrass, honeysuckle and musk perfume. Medium-bodied, the palate has a lovely touch of creaminess to the texture with loads of freshness lifting the intense stone fruit and citrus flavors to a long finish.
Anticipated maturity: 2020-2028
