About Domaine des Malandes
Domaine des Malandes dates back to the 1940s when André and Gabrielle Tremblay began to amas vineyards on what was ex-agricultural land.

Domaine des Malandes dates back to the 1940s when André and Gabrielle Tremblay began to amas vineyards on what was ex-agricultural land. Granddaughter, Lyne Marchive, took over the holdings in 1973 and over the last 40 years has increased the holdings to almost 30ha throughout the appellation. Lyne Marchive has chosen to step down letting her children, Amandine and Richard, take over the running of the estate. However, long term winemaker, Guenole Breteaudeau, remains in charge on that front. Organic viticulture and respect of the soil are the focus at this domaine. Oak, mostly old, is used in small quantities for premier and grand crus only, while stainless steel is used for the rest of the range. Breteaudeau, Amandine and Richard want to express the freshness and purity of the terroirs they work with, especially for their village Chablis. Envers de Valmur is a vineyard that makes a naturally richer style of Chablis village and is a notable step up. Other prominent holdings include Grand Cru les Clos and Vaudesir (all old vines), as well as five 1er Cru’s.
