The 2018 Barolo Margheria is gorgeous. Hints of truffle, orange peel, cedar, pipe tobacco and kirsch on the bouquet are immediately alluring. This deceptively mid-weight Serralunga Barolo offers tons of aromatic and flavor complexity. It’s one of the finer recent versions I can remember tasting and a huge success for the vintage.
