Today has seen the release of the new 2015 Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill, the 21st iteration of Pol Roger’s prestige cuvée. Produced in limited quantities compared to its peers, Winston Churchill remains a relative value pick in the world of Grandes Marques Champagne.
Some of the Latimer Team were lucky enough to attend the launch of the new vintage yesterday, noting: “As always it was exciting to taste the new release and fascinating to taste alongside the legendary 2008. The 2015 had a lovely balance of freshness, elegance alongside crisp acidity and a lovely mineral, limestone character.”.
