Tasting Notes
Latimer Vintners NR
From the top section of Les Duresses which was un-planted until 2018 but Gilles says has the same soil structure as Meursault Perrieres! White flowers, honey, baked apple, lovely textural richness from such young vines, a little dry extract and pleasing fine bone of acidity.
Burghound 90-92
A deft application of wood is present on the cool and pretty aromas of primarily essence of pear, apple and citrus confit. There is both excellent vibrancy and delineation to the stony and delicious medium-bodied flavors that display solid length on the youthfully austere and chiseled finale. This could use better depth so a few years of keeping should be worthwhile. Drink 2029+.
